New Delhi: The Income Tax Department has started processing Income Tax Returns (ITR). Under this, the Income Tax Department is sending notices to taxpayers under Section 143 (1) of the Income Tax Act. It states whether the ITR filed by you is correct or not. If it is not correct, then the reason for the same is also mentioned. Generally, this reason is related to giving incorrect information about income. If you have also received this notice, then do not panic. First read it to see if you had filled any wrong information in the ITR. If something like this comes out, then file the revised return by the last date. Generally, the last date for filing revised returns is 31 December.
