Retirees who never applied for a loan at the institute or finished paying it off and still have a balance in the housing sub-account, can request that money. There is no fatal deadline to complete the process.
If within a period of nine years the retirees have not requested the return of the balance of the housing sub-account, Infonavit will notify you via email or text message to carry out the request.

For this, it is necessary to have the advanced electronic signature (e-signature) before the SAT, provide the bank account in the applicant’s name and have a pension resolution issued by Social Security.

Workers who are in regime 73 will receive the refund directly in their bank account all the resources available in Infonavit, along with the corresponding yields.
Whoever is in regime 97, workers who started working after July 1, 1997, the resources of the housing sub-account are sent to the Afore to be added to the amount of their pension.
While whoever has resources in the 72-92 Savings Fund or Solo Infonavit housing subaccount, they must request the return of funds at the institute.
