The Israeli team will begin its journey in the League of Nations in eight days, when it will host the Icelandic team. The new national coach, Alon Hazan, announced today (Thursday) the staff that will take part in meetings at the factory where the blue and whites will face the Icelanders on June 2 and June 13, and against Albania in between and on June 10.
Hapoel Beer Sheva’s Miguel Vitor, who recently received Israeli citizenship, was called to the roster for the first time. Mahmoud Jaber, Yoav Jaffy, Doron Leidner and Raz Shlomo were also called up to the squad. Sean Weissman is currently inside, with the final decision regarding him to be made on Sunday based on the results of the final round of the Second Spanish League. Dean David is on the extended squad and could receive a call if it is decided to give up the Valladolid striker.
Miguel Vitor was included in the squad on the assumption that he will be approved by FIFA for the games against Albania and Iceland away, possibly even for the first home game against Iceland on June 2. Alon Harazi joined the team as assistant coach and Itai Zilpa as goalkeeping coach. Analysts will be Adar Rosenberg and Dr. Michal Goldwirt will join the medical staff. Bnei Tabak will join the management team.

The staff includes four representatives from Hapoel Beer Sheva, one from Maccabi Tel Aviv, six from Maccabi Haifa, three from Maccabi Netanya, one from Hapoel Tel Aviv and one from MS Ashdod. The association announced that they have launched a campaign ahead of the games: tickets costing 33 shekels for families in the eastern and northern stands. The promotion is valid for category 3 at the Sami Ofer Stadium and for a family of 3-7 people.
