Kochi: The High Court has dismissed a petition alleging that the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra is causing traffic jams. The petition was dismissed on the ground that the petitioner had failed to produce documents to prove the allegation. The government informed the court that the journey was going on peacefully. The government has also informed that cases have been taken against the illegal actions.

Advocate K. demanded that the police should be instructed to avoid traffic jams. Vijayan approached the High Court. In the petition filed as opposing parties including Rahul Gandhi and KPCC president, it was demanded that the expenses of the policemen appointed for security should be collected from the organizers. Yesterday, while considering the case, the High Court had directed the complainant to produce the documents including the permission obtained for the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
