India’s third largest IT services company HCL Technologies today released its December quarter results for the financial year 2023-24. Out of which consolidated net profit rose 13.5% sequentially. Also during the quarter under review the company’s revenue grew by 6.65% QoQ to Rs. 28,446 crores.Samayam Tamil
The company posted a strong profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 4,350 crore in the October-December quarter of the current financial year. In fact, it posted a higher profit than the market expectations of an 11% increase in profit. The company’s revenue growth has also exceeded market expectations.
Subsequently consolidated net profit increased by 6.2% from Rs 4,096 crore in the year-ago period. Whereas, its consolidated revenue from operations increased by 6.5% from Rs 26,700 crore in Q3FY23,
The board of directors of the company announced that the company will pay an interim dividend of 12 rupees per share of face value of 2 rupees to its investors along with the release of net profit. The record amount for this dividend is fixed as January 20, 2024.
At the end of today’s trading session, the stock price was trading at Rs 1,553.90 with a gain of 4.65%.
