These measures include the payment of compensation and the taking out of an insurance policy for the participants and the provision of adequate means of transport to them, the HCP said in a press release.

The compensation of the participants in the RGPH 2024 will be paid by bank transfer, whether for those with a bank account or those with a payment account opened with payment institutions (Barid Cash, Cash Plus, Wafacash, Damane Cash, Al Barid Bank), indicates the HCP.

The compensation will be paid to participants in two installments, the same source specifies. The first installment will be paid within 48 hours following the end of the face-to-face training of controllers and investigators, scheduled for August 15 to 27, 2024, while the second will be made within 48 hours following the data collection phase from households, which will take place from September 1 to 30, 2024.

In addition, participants will benefit from insurance covering the period from August 15 to September 30, 2024. This insurance will cover medical, pharmaceutical, and hospitalization costs, and will provide compensation in the event of permanent disability (partial or total) and in the event of death, explains the HCP.

It will also provide medical and adapted support in case of emergency or accidents across the provinces and prefectures of the Kingdom, underlines the same source, noting that a call center available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week will be available to process declarations relating to bodily accidents and guarantee rapid and efficient assistance.

To facilitate the collection of data from households, means of transport will be made available to participants, particularly in rural areas and urban peripheries, in collaboration with local authorities, the press release underlines.

Thus, the HCP highlighted the efforts of the services of the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of National Security and the Royal Gendarmerie to guarantee the safety of participants and the protection of electronic equipment used during the census.
