HDFC Fixed Deposit Interest Rate: Recently RBI Governor Shakti Kantha Das has announced that the lending rate i.e. repo rate will remain unchanged at 6.5 percent, HDFC, the largest private bank, has given an exciting news to its crores of customers. Accordingly, the bank has increased the interest rate for fixed deposits below Rs 2 crore by 25 basis points. According to the notification issued by HDFC Bank in this regard, it is said that the new FD rate has been implemented from 9 February 2024. Also, the bank offers interest rates ranging from 3.5% to 7.75% for deposits of 7 days to 10 years. The bank has hiked the interest rate on fixed deposits of less than 21 months from 7% to 7.25% from 18 months.
* HDFC Bank offers 3% interest on gross FD deposits maturing in 7 to 29 days.
* 3.50% interest on total FD deposits maturing in 30 to 45 days.
* 4.50% interest will be paid on aggregate deposits maturing in 46 days to six months.

* Bank offers FD Interest Rate50.75% interest on total FD deposits between six months, one day to 9 months.
* Total FD deposits maturing from one day to less than one year will earn 6 percent interest.
* Offers 6.60 percent interest on FDs maturing within one year to 15 months.
* 7.10 percent interest is paid on fixed deposit for 15 months to 18 months. The bank has increased the interest rate on FD deposits by 25 basis points from 18 months to less than 21 months. It has been increased from 7 percent to 7.25 percent.
* Bank offers 7.15% interest on FD deposits from 21 months to 2 years 11 months. Apart from this, the bank offers 7.20% interest on 55 months (4 years 7 months) FD.
* HDFC Bank offers 50 basis points higher interest on FDs for senior citizens.
* Bank offers 3.5% to 7.75% interest on FD deposits of 7 days to 10 years.
* Maximum interest rate is 7.75% for tenure less than 18 to 21 months.
