HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector lender, has set a precedent for other banks by introducing a personal loan facility in just 10 seconds for all its bank account holders and bank account holders. Private lending banks or institutions provide loans to only 5 percent of the self-employed, which HDFC Bank has decided to increase. And the bank is arranging to provide loans in 650 districts in India. This private bank has created the largest share of retail loans of Rs 1.48 lakh crore and is now going to make a big difference by offering loans in 10 seconds. It has been informed by the bank that the bank will provide many credit facilities to improve the quality of life of self-employed customers.
According to some information released about this bank, HDFC Bank has given nearly 12 million loans for mortgage alone, banks have given mortgage loans in about 440 districts. Apart from that, to give importance to women, the bank has also started a branch for women in Kozhikode, Kerala.
