According to the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office, this relative is worried about the fate of the little boy of a couple of friends, “whose father was making delusional comments and who was planning to go to the Maghreb in the company of his wife and their son to undertake a form of initiatory journey. » An investigation is entrusted to the research brigade (BR) of Lesparre and the research section (SR) of Bordeaux whose “mobilization and tenacity” made it possible to prevent the couple “from escaping justice”, welcomes the prosecution this Wednesday. On December 20, a judicial investigation for “kidnapping, sequestration or arbitrary detention of a minor hostage aged 15 to facilitate a crime or misdemeanor” was opened.
It was therefore the French gendarmerie which alerted the Spanish authorities as part of an “urgent request for collaboration”. Objective: “to locate a French couple” known for “psychiatric history” and who “would have informed a relative of their intention to go to the Sahara to sacrifice their son, believing him to be possessed”, indicates the Guardia Civile in a communiqué. They were arrested as they were about to board a ferry. The little boy was placed in a Spanish social services home for minors, following an emergency temporary placement order issued by the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office. “Passionate and talented” music teachers
This Wednesday, the newspaper South West makes revelations about the personalities of these two parents. Questioned by the regional daily, the mayor of Carcans-Maubuisson evokes a father who “could lose his temper. Sometimes he would get angry and angry, but he would come back a few minutes later to apologize.” According to the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office, Florian L. is known to the courts for old facts, but unrelated to the case which currently concerns him. Described as “passionate and talented” by South West in 2018, they managed to welcome 150 students into their music classes at that time. Florian L., trained at the Sète conservatory (Hérault), and Marie L., from the Saintes conservatory (Charente-Maritime), are known for their ukulele lessons given on the beaches of Carcans, their choir called Les Voix du Lac, their musical on women’s rights or for their online music lessons since confinement.
In their videos posted on social networks, the two brunettes, with a somewhat bohemian look, appear complicit, cheerful and self-confident. Far from the affair that has been the talk of the town since the end of the year.
Found naked and delirious in the forest
But according to Sud Ouest, Florian L. announced the closure of the music school in January, without the slightest explanation. This announcement came a few weeks after the father’s internment in a psychiatric hospital in Bordeaux: the forty-year-old had been found naked and delirious in a forest located around twenty kilometers from his home.
Following the report to the gendarmerie, the couple was the subject of a European arrest warrant for “kidnapping a minor”.
