The entertainer celebrated a brilliant TV comeback with the boxing match against Regina Halmich. But it won’t stop with that appearance, as Stefan Raab has now announced.

But the moment that fans had been waiting for for months was a long time coming. It was only after around two hours, filled with filmed retrospectives on his career, that Stefan Raab finally showed up in the hall. Although the 57-year-old was unable to prevail against Regina Halmich in the ring, his comeback was still a success.

And it won’t be Stefan Raab’s last appearance: The entertainer is returning to the camera. “I’ve decided to do shows again,” he said after the fight and announced a press conference immediately after the show. That same evening, the 57-year-old revealed details of his plans.

It starts in just a few days: “You won’t win the million here” starts every Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. on September 18th. However, the show will not be shown on linear television, but on the streaming service RTL+.

And what is it about? “The name says it all, because there is a fantastic prize of one million euros to be won – and of course Stefan Raab won’t let that be taken out of his pocket so easily. He moderates and asks the quiz questions. He competes in duels against his challengers,” says a statement from the broadcaster. Changing guest presenters will keep an eye on the game rounds. Raab’s former show intern Elton will be the first to start.

Raab explained that the new format was not developed for conventional television by referring to the “course of the times”: “Modernity is playing in streaming.” However, the presenter for RTL will also appear on classic television. There will be “numerous show formats” for RTL and RTL+, the broadcaster announced. Accordingly, various shows are planned that will run at prime time and for which Raab will appear in front of the camera again at the end of the year. The entertainer has signed an exclusive contract with RTL for five years.
