With the successful completion of 14 seasons of the IPL series, the 15th season is set to begin in India at the end of March. A total of 10 teams are participating in the 15th season, including the existing eight teams, two new teams heading to Lucknow and Ahmedabad. Earlier, a mega auction for players was scheduled to be held in Bangalore on February 12 and 13.
In this mega auction each team is waiting to compete and select the players they want. The Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have yet to win an IPL trophy in that category, are waiting to select the players they need for their squad this time around.
The RCB, which has already been expected to win the trophy every time for the past several years, seems to be planning to buy some key players in the run-up to capturing the trophy this year at a time when it has yet to win the trophy.

Former India captain Harbhajan Singh has said that the RCB team will definitely select young Indian batsman Ishant Kishan during the mega auction. As he puts it:
I am a huge fan of young Indian batsman Ishant Kishan. He can definitely stand alone and give a team a win. He has the ability to hit 70 to 80 runs when he meets at least 30 balls. So in the coming days he will be an unavoidable player and every team will be bidding for him.

In which I think the RCB team will definitely take him to the auction. Harbhajan said the RCB team needed a strong starter at the moment and there would be stiff competition to pick him up. It is noteworthy that Bangalore are set to play with a new captain this season as Virat Kohli has stepped down as captain following the IPL series that ended last year.
