Lilly Tellez criticized the buyer of Cartier earrings for taking advantage of the online store’s error to acquire them at a low price; “Stop humiliating yourself,” she replies.

Recently the case of the user ‘@LordeDandy’ went viral for buying earrings from the brand Cartier at less than 300 pesos – whose real value is 237 thousand pesos -, this due to an alleged error on the website.

Since then, the users received several criticisms for supposedly taking advantage of it and among these critics, that of the PAN legislator stood out.

“What a shame that a Mexican takes advantage of an obvious mistake by Cartier. The correct thing was to notify the company about the wrong price on its page. It is unethical and someone else will pay for the buyer’s lack of honesty,” Téllez wrote in his X account.

Later, Lilly Téllez responded to a publication by Genaro Lozano about the brand selling the earrings to the user at the price shown on the portal, that is, 237 pesos:

“I’m not surprised that Cartier follows the law. It is also not surprising that the buyer presumes to be crooked, abusive and dishonest. From ignorance the lack of honor is applauded, my dear Genaro.”

However, ‘@LordeDandy’ did not hesitate to respond to the PAN senator for her criticism of him: “Madam, stop humiliating yourself, read a little.”

The legislator decided to return to the issue and said that an “agandalle” action must be approved, in addition to asking the buyer “to have the ethical height to return the earrings.”

“Doing the right thing exalts and an honorable spirit is worth more than all the gold in the world,” he added.

Finally, he addressed young people not to repeat such actions and not to “take advantage of a mistake to the detriment of another person, abuse, even if the law supports you, and make fun of a company. “It is more important to be honorable than to have Cartier earrings.”
