The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court released yesterday (Sunday) under restrictive conditions Lidor Markthe son of the former member of the Knesset Osnat Markafter being arrested on suspicion of assaulting inspectors, refusing to identify himself and obstructing a police officer in the performance of his duties.

The incident began when inspectors from the integrated policing in Ma’ale Adumim intended to write a traffic report to the 26-year-old young Mark, for an offense he had committed in their opinion. When he started attacking the inspectors, cursing and threatening them, they called the police to the scene. But the young man did not relent, burst out in rage at the policemen, cursed them and refused to identify himself to them.

In the midst of the resulting storm, the police arrested Mark, who was brought to the police station for questioning. At the end of the investigation, he was taken to the court, which decided to release him under restrictive conditions.
We should note that in April of last year Mark was charged with cursing and threatening two police officers, after he told them: “I will break your arms, you will see what I will do to you. I will warn you if you come to me without a uniform.”
