‘Fahd was a big deal for me when he first came on the set. Saji sir introduced me to Fahad Ikka. Fahad had told me not to be afraid and to do it without tension. Everyone gave great support and there was a dog named Chemban in the film. Even though it was a trained dog, sometimes when it heard the sound of rain, the dog would run away, and I heard a fight from the director for not catching the dog straight away,’ says Deepu.

Meanwhile, after 30 years, A.R. Malayankunju is also a Malayalam music directed by Rahman.
