British Prime Minister Boris Johnson traveled by secret train to Kiev on April 9 to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Gelensky amid rising tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
He met with President Selensky in Kiev, consulted with him, walked the streets of Kiev and discussed with the people.
Earlier, Boris Johnson’s travel details were kept secret for security reasons.

He further added that the Russian military had hoped that Ukraine would be captured in a few days and that the city of Kiev would fall in a few hours, but that the Ukrainian people had shown the lion’s courage and made it clear to the Russian military that their intentions were wrong.
