Ilias Mamalakis spoke about his next professional step, but also about Vefa Alexiadou’s participation in the European elections with LA.OS., on the show “To Proino”.
“I am going to Crete, because I have a job in a Cretan channel. As for Athens, we’ll see. I have not been offered TV, I am old enough and I think that a wise man should retire at the right time. I am fed up with television, if I were to return, it would be for something big, which is not happening at the moment, because television is suffering financially”, said Ilias Mamalakis initially.
Asked about the candidacy of Vefa Alexiadou in the European elections, Ilias Mamalakis replied: “I am sorry to learn this. I love and respect her, but at her age and with the party she chose, she shouldn’t have. Many may have mocked her, but she is a legendary face of cooking on Greek television. He should have stood on the pedestal he is on. He is past 80, he has nothing to contribute to politics. A tired man who has passed 80, what can he contribute to politics?”
