Regarding this, he said, “Selection of the team will depend on the confidence the captain and coaches have in the players. To be honest, India’s Ashwin played very well in the early stages of the 2022 World Cup series. But his performance was not good at the end. But if Yuzvendra Chahal played, he would have made a bigger impact. “And Sahal would have been an interesting choice for the Indian team. But we will see all this after the series,” he said.
