Anyone who deals with children in Berlin knows Düppel. The museum village that has been in the Zehlendorf district since 1975. Here, wrapped in furs and coarsely woven fabrics, you can experience how poorly insulated houses in the Middle Ages were, how important the central fire is, how difficult it is to make pottery or to use hatchets. The co-founder of this parade project of trying out archeology, the former state archaeologist and director of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History, Adriaan von Müller, died on November 28th at the age of 93, as the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation has now announced.
