A 51-year-old man committed fraud in Trenque Lauquen, Carlos Casares and Salliqueló posing as a lawyer. Héctor Reinaldo Orlando -a native of Chacabuco- called himself “doctor”, used the false name “Fabricio Arriarán”, and with these apocryphal data he deceived his girlfriend, with whom he had lived for six months in Casares. The Trenque Lauquen DDI arrested him for “falsification of documents” and for defrauding relatives of detainees in a penitentiary unit, from whom he took large sums “with the false promise of managing as a lawyer” their cases and the freedom of the convicted.
The investigation was carried out by prosecutor Fabio Arcomano at the request of a Chacabuco prosecutor. The man had been in a relationship for six months with a woman from Carlos Casares who he believed to be called Fabricio Arriarán and found out the true identity of the fraudster when the Police arrived at his home with a search warrant.
