Sergeant included the following statements in his message:
“The National Unity Party is 48 years old today…. Happy birthday to all of us.
The National Unity Party has undertaken major projects in the country for 48 years and continues to do so.
The National Unity Party, which has made it its mission to fight for the development of the country and its just cause, with the support of the Republic of Turkey, by protecting the sovereignty and freedom of the Turkish Cypriot people through consistent and determined work, has always stood by its people and will continue to do so.
In addition to the foreign policy, economic and financial initiatives initiated under the chairmanship of our Chairman Ünal Üstel, we continue to work with all our strength to implement projects to strengthen state functioning and institutions.
Our efforts, especially those initiated to increase production and increase the contribution to the country’s economy, continue with the support of our stakeholders.
It has always made us proud that 48 years of unity and solidarity continues today as it did yesterday.
“I express my respects to all our citizens who have served under the umbrella of the National Unity Party from past to present, and I wish God’s mercy to our party members who are not alive today.”
