Police found the man drunk and arrested him on the spot. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A 35-year-old man had a student pilot’s certificate, issued in January 2020, but he was not allowed to board passengers. Road crews took about three hours to clear the collision and tow the plane off the highway. According to public records, the pilot had several issues with law enforcement for traffic offenses, including speeding and driving without a valid license in 2017.
