Yiannis Vogiatzis gave an interview to the show “Two at 10” and Iordanis Papakyriakou. The well-known and great actor spoke about the first time Philopoimin Finos called him to act in a film, his collaboration with Yiannis Dalianidis, but also the adoration he had for his mother.
“I prefer cinema to theatre. To play good theater, you must have done good cinema. When Finos called me to do my first role, I was knocked out. Giannis Dalianidis was very strict with his colleagues. Once he had scolded Martha Karagianni and she fell into my arms and started crying. He was a great director and he treated us all as equals, even if you were his friend. I never rode the rod, I was trying to be real”, said Yiannis Vogiatzis initially.
Yannis Vogiatzis then said: “I adored my mother, to the point that my father said that if he didn’t know me, he would think I was her lover. Now I am… a five-year-old, I have no mother, no wife, no brother, I am alone! But I have my son, my daughter-in-law, my grandson, and also some brotherly friends.”
