Manama: A former civil servant has been jailed and fined for illegally tripled his salary in order to receive a higher pension. A Bahraini criminal court has sentenced a former civil servant to life in prison for years of fraud.
He joined a training institute in 2008 for a salary of 1950 riyals. The salary was later reduced to 2100 dinars through a fake electronic registration agreement.
