Nektaria Giannoudaki mentioned her childhood and the abusive behavior she received from a teacher at school, speaking on the show “Mama-des”.

“I am the youngest of three siblings, having a difference of 11 years with my eldest brother and nine years with the second. I was a very shy child and the truth is that I grew up in my dad’s shop, which was in the center of Chania. I was there with my father, very quiet and my mother has also told me that… where you left me, that’s where I stayed and I didn’t move until you told me to do something,” said the well-known actress.

She added: “At school, first grade was a traumatic experience. A horrible teacher, who also beat us and cursed us and ridiculed us, thought that my family belonged to a different party than we did. So he started behaving vindictively towards me. It completely cut my wings, I was afraid of school and I had anxiety.”

“I had the worst grades in the entire department, because back then in first grade we got grades and I got 6s in everything. Until my mom was patient, she did two, she asked to see my notebook and I told her that the notebook is lost. So she went to the principal and now in second grade, from second to third, I changed department and there I blossomed very happily and had a much better time” added Nektaria Giannoudaki.
