The services for the prevention and fight against crime and urban decay, explains the police headquarters, “had the purpose, in addition to monitoring the sensitive targets and the most complex infrastructures present in our territory – such as railways, roads, highways, railway and bus stations, public institutions, historical, artistic and architectural assets, places of worship and places of aggregation – also to guarantee the safety of transport and the safety of people who took advantage of the holidays to spend their vacations visiting museums, restaurants, theaters, public places and so on”.
Among the recipients of the expulsion orders, there is a Senegalese citizen who, on Saturday afternoon, was wandering around the streets of the city centre brandishing a wooden stickand a 36-year-old Moroccan citizen with several criminal convictions, surprised at night by a police car in an area of the Europa district, where in recent weeks several car thefts had been reported, while he had just gotten rid of a switchblade with a 7-centimeter blade.
