Heads of State congratulated Chancellor Nehammer on taking office – Austria

The new Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) has received congratulations from various countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated him on taking office: “I assume that your work as head of government will help the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas,” he wrote in a telegram published by the Russian embassy in Vienna on Tuesday.
