28 recalls for different brands

On yesterday, Tuesday, August 27, twenty-eight recalls of fresh eggs from free-range farming sold under various brands were made, as a precaution, due to the risk of microbiological contamination, particularly from salmonella. The news was also reported on the Ministry of Health’s website in the dedicated section “Food product recalls by operators.” Among the brands involved are Cascina Italia, Smart (sold by Esselunga), Ovonovo, Delizie dal Sole (sold at Eurospin), Lactis (Parmalat), Latteria Chiuro, Gesco, Amadori, Conad, and Del Campo. The Ministry of Health’s website lists the numbers of the batches involved in the recalls by the producer, namely Cascina Italia Spa (establishment in Spirano, province of Bergamo). The recommendation is not to consume the product and not to throw it away but to “return the eggs to the point of sale where they were purchased.”
