Jaipur : The condition of the rape victim admitted in Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Jaipur remains critical. The victim is having trouble breathing. His Corona report has also come positive. A team of three special doctors has been put on duty to take special care of the victim. This team is taking full care of the victim’s health by taking updates of her medical report all the time. The victim girl is admitted in the ICU ward of SMS Hospital for the last three days.
Preparation to shift to Delhi AIIMS
Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar is taking information about the victim’s health from doctors three times a day. On Monday, Khinvsar himself went to the hospital to meet the victim and took updates on her medical report from the doctors. During this, he said that at present the condition of the victim is stable. If necessary, he will be shifted to Delhi AIIMS. Along with the advice of doctors, opinion is also being taken from the victim’s family members. The Health Minister said that if the family members feel at all that better treatment can be done in Delhi AIIMS instead of Jaipur, then after taking the advice of doctors, they can be shifted to Delhi AIIMS.
There are more than 20 wounds on the victim’s body.
The attackers had fatally attacked the victim with an axe. Ax is a sharp weapon which is used to cut any heavy object. Due to the attack with that axe, the victim’s body got deep wounds at many places. The attackers also shot the victim. The bullet tore through his stomach and got stuck in his spinal cord. The team of doctors has operated on the victim.
The victim was fatally attacked in front of the police station.
On Saturday, February 24, at 7:30 pm, the victim was returning home with her brother. Meanwhile, rape accused Rajendra Yadav and his two associates stopped the victim and her brother in front of Pragpura police station and then attacked them fatally. The victim’s brother was attacked on his leg with a rod due to which he fell down. After this, the three accused attacked the victim with a sharp weapon and shot her. Later, thinking he was dead, they ran away. The main accused had threatened the rape victim to withdraw the case or change her statement. For not doing so he was attacked.
All three attackers have been arrested
The police have arrested the three accused who attacked the rape victim. Two accused Mahesh alias Mahipal and Rahul Gurjar were arrested by the police on the second day of the attack while the main accused Rajendra Yadav tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of the train to escape from the police. The accused had jumped in front of the train under the Malviya Nagar culvert in Jaipur at 7 am on Monday February. This did not kill the accused but one of his legs was amputated and the other was seriously broken. In such a situation, the doctors had to amputate his other leg also. Now he is admitted in SMS Hospital under police surveillance.
