The health unions have called for a symbolic walkout from 6.30 am today (08) to 6.30 am tomorrow (09).
It is said that hospital operations have been affected due to this act of neglect.
This symbolic retrenchment is carried out on the basis of factors including salary and fringe benefits which have been cancelled.
All other health care unions, except the doctors and nurses unions, are involved in this symbolic boycott.
