Health workers belonging to 72 health unions except doctors are leading a continuous strike from 6 am today.
The 72 health unions had taken several trade union actions demanding that the additional allowance of Rs 35,000 fixed for the doctors should be given to them as well.
In this situation, the Confederation of Health Trade Unions has said that the union has resumed work boycott today, as the representatives of the health trade unions failed to reach an agreement in the negotiations with the officials of the Ministry of Finance.
