A heartbreaking moment today (Thursday) in the qualifiers for the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Tel Aviv. The Israeli Adi Katz recorded a good score in the ball exercise, but an appeal by Margarita Kolsov was accepted and it cost the Israeli the next step.
Katz received 31,650 points, a good score that was not enough for the next stage following Kolsov’s appeal. At the same time, Daria Atmanov advanced to the final of the hoop exercise from fifth place with 33,700 points.
German Kolosov received 32.350 points after the appeal and went up. The various finals will be held this coming Saturday, June 18.
