The city of São Paulo registered 34.8ºC at 4pm this Saturday 23rd, a record for the city in 2023. The data are from National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). Last Friday, the temperature was 34.7°C.

Until 6pm this Sunday, the 24th, nine states are under Red alertused when there is great danger, with health risks.

In relation to Stored Energy (EAR), the forecast is that this will remain above 70% in three subsystems by the end of this month. EAR is the energy associated with the volume of water available in reservoirs that can be transformed into energy.

The situation appears to be under control due to the rains that, in addition to the heat, are also expected in spring in several regions. The highest EAR should occur in the South (85.2%), ahead of the North (73.7%), the Southeast/Central-West (72.6%) and the Northeast (67.2%).
