Heavy machinery for the Ministry of Public Works and Agriculture

DIG/ Received by Ministers Flavien Nzengui-Nzoundou (Public Works) and Jonathan Ignoumba (Agriculture), on 14 August 2024 at Owendo Port, a large batch of heavy equipment obtained from the West African Ebomaf group.

According to Minister Nzengui-Nzoundou, these machines will be mostly used to build the Malibé 2 bypass, north of Greater Libreville.

More than a hundred kilometers long, this the route from Cap Caravane to Owendo will leave through Bikélé, Nkok, and Andeme.

Moreover, As part of this heavy equipment the activities of Public Works subsidies can be revived to ensure better maintenance of the national road network.

For the Ministry of Agriculture, the machines are composed of agricultural tractors intended to strengthen national agricultural productivity.

They will enable Gabonese agricultural policy to be reinforced, while stimulating the economic development of rural areas at the same time.

“We will distribute them to selected farmers in each province,” said Jonathan Ignoumba.

You should know that these machines are the first in a series of four ordered by the government.
