Riyadh: Heavy rain in different areas of Saudi Arabia. There was heavy rain in Yambu and Umlaj. South of Diba, Tabuk province, there were strong winds and rain.
Electricity towers and posts were blown down by strong winds. The footage was circulated on social media. Heavy rain fell in Diba, Alwaj, Umlaj and Yambu. The Saudi Electricity Company informed that the power supply was disrupted in some areas in Tabuk. But the Saudi Electricity Company later clarified that the company’s technical teams intervened and restored power supply to most of the locations. As Wadi Al-Khushaiba overflowed, the Al-Ula-Madinah road was temporarily closed by security departments. The security departments have demanded that the Al-Ula-Khyber road be used instead of this road.
