Torrevieja, Spain suffered severe flooding after heavy rains. Many motorists were trapped in the flash flood. The Spanish government has stepped up efforts to rescue people living in low-lying areas, as the country’s meteorological agency has said that rain is likely to continue in Spain for the next few days.
