305 charges have been filed against the LGBT club massacre in Colorado

Hundreds of charges, including first-degree murder and multiple counts of hate crimes, have been filed against 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich, who identifies as non-binary, who entered the Q Club and fired on revelers for six minutes

Anderson Lee Aldrich, the gunman accused of killing five people and injuring 25 others at an LGBTQ club in Colorado, is facing 305 charges.

The 22-year-old, who appeared in court Tuesday morning for the first time since his arrest, sat next to the public defender as the prosecutor presented the charges. In addition to charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, Aldrich faces a slew of first- and second-degree assault charges, and “multiple counts of hate crimes.”

Aldrich, who identifies as non-binary, walked into the Club Q club in Colorado Springs on the night of November 19 and opened fire in all directions for a full six minutes, until he was attacked by several men present who managed to overpower him and stop the killing spree.

Joshua Thurman, who spent time at the club and survived the massacre, told reporters about the horrifying moments: “I thought it was music, so I kept dancing. Then I heard another set of shots, and I and another customer ran to the dressing room, laid down on the ground, locked the doors and called the police.” .

“There were bodies on the ground, blood, shards of glass, broken glasses, and outside it was even worse,” he said.

As you remember, Aldrich was arrested at the scene by the police, and since then he has been in custody without the possibility of being released on bail.

The 22-year-old is the son of former MMA fighter-turned-porn star Aaron Brink, and the grandson, on his mother’s side, of Randy Waffle, a Republican assemblyman from California who made headlines when he compared the January 6 storming of the Capitol to the American Revolution.

Aldrich, as well as his mother Laura, have a history with the law enforcement system. For example, the day after the massacre at the club, the mother was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She was also warned several times in her home to stop yelling, or she would be arrested for disorderly conduct. Three arrest warrants were previously issued against the 45-year-old in California.
