After 6 months away from the spotlight: Queen Elizabeth at the first public event
After recovering from Corona and at the age of 95 the Queen came to the ceremony in memory of her late husband, Prince Philip, accompanied by the whole family, of course, except for the royal couple who left Britain, Prince Harry and the former Duchess Megan Merkel
For the first time in six months, Queen Elizabeth appears at the first public event, which took place not far from Windsor Castle (in Westminster Abbey). The event in question is a ceremony in memory of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, who passed away last April, at the age of 99.
According to reports, the whole family was present at the ceremony, when until the last minute it was not clear whether the queen would arrive, following her health condition. But close to the royal house he said that Elizabeth was determined to take part in this important event, and was not prepared to give it up.
Prince Charles came with his wife, while Andrew accompanied and supported the queen until she came to her place, along with the walking stick that Elizabeth held all the way. The Queen stood by her family and 1,800 other guests and promised that her husband’s last wishes would come true.
The Queen, Princess Anne, and Duchess Camilla, all wore clothes in shades of green, as a tribute to Prince Philip, who was his favorite color. As you may recall, in recent months quite a few rumors about Queen Elizabeth’s medical condition have flooded the net, with the Queen missing some particularly important events in the last six months.
