by time news

Fortunately, the young reporter was not injured in the incident and even completed the broadcast from the scene of the incident. The moments of the injury were of course documented, and the reporter can be heard saying that “a car hit me, just like that, when I was a student”

A reporter from a local news company in West Virginia was run over live on Wednesday, but fortunately she was not injured and even continued to broadcast.

The young reporter, Tori Yorgi from the NBC channel in Huntington, went out to cover a main water pipe that exploded and caused flooding in the area.

The car hit Yorgi even before she could deliver the report to presenter Tim Ir. You can hear her say “Oh Mae Gad, a car hit now but I’m fine. I’m fine, Tim.” The stunned presenter responded by saying, “Wow, that’s not seen on TV.”

As mentioned, fortunately Yorgi was not injured in the incident, and it turns out that this is not the first time the reporter has fallen into a similar situation: “The truth is that a car hit me just like that when I was a student,” Yorgi said on the broadcast.

Later you can even hear the offending leadership apologizing to the reporter: “Ma’am, you are so cute and everything is fine,” Yorgi said on the broadcast.

Yorgi even noted that this is her last week as a reporter for the local news company: “This is my last week on the job and I knew something like this would happen.”
