Every parent’s nightmare: A 3-month-old baby was abducted from his family home in California

Northern California law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for a 3-month-old baby who was abducted from his family home yesterday (Monday), according to San Jose police.

According to a San Jose police statement, the baby – Brandon Kwiller – was abducted from his family home on Elm Street around 1:00 p.m.

The baby’s parents left him with his grandmother during the day, and she decided to take him to the supermarket. They returned to the apartment and the grandmother brought the baby into the house, but she left her alone for about two minutes and got out of the car to fetch more bags.
“Someone took advantage of the fact that she got in the car again to get into the apartment and get out of there with the baby,” said Sergeant Christian Camario of San Jose police, “Today, someone is walking around with a 3-month-old baby he didn’t have yesterday.”

A few hours after the abduction, law enforcement authorities released the suspect’s first documentation (as photographed by a home security camera). According to Camario, the baby’s family members did not identify the suspect in the abduction.
“We continue to work hard to locate baby Brandon,” police said this morning (Tuesday), “This continues to be our main goal today. Investigators continue to inspect every possible wire end, and the most important thing is that we bring Brandon back to his home.”
