In the shadow of rumors of a conflict: the Beckham family reunites with Nicola Peltz
Victoria Beckham recently published a joint family photo with her son and his wife, in honor of their first wedding anniversary. “We love you,” she wrote, when her daughter-in-law did not oblige and responded: “We love you so much.”
After months of rumors about a family rift, Victoria Beckham put an end to the gossip with a new photo on Instagram of her and her husband, former footballer David Beckham, together with their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz and congratulated them on their first wedding anniversary.
“It’s so special to be together to celebrate your first wedding anniversary. We love you,” Victoria wrote. “Today was so much fun,” Peltz responded to her, adding: “We love you so much.”
The shared photo of the four gathered over half a million likes in a few hours and over a thousand comments, including: “Okay, everyone can breathe easy”, “Congratulations! But Victoria, teach the girl how to dress”.
Another comment that was repeated was “Victoria looks younger than Nicola” and another one that garnered quite a few likes was “Victoria and David look much better than these two young men”. Also, Brooklyn shared his mother’s photo in a story while Nicola posted it – along with several other family photos.
The Beckham family is currently vacationing on a luxury yacht in Miami and according to reports, Victoria, David, Romeo and Harper are expected to join Brooklyn and Nicola’s Easter dinner with the rest of the Peltz family this weekend at Nicola’s parents’ mansion in Palm Beach.
For the benefit of those who didn’t follow the family conflict – shortly after Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, rumors began to surface about a conflict between the bride and her mother-in-law. According to reports, the conflict arose after Peltz wore a Valentino haute couture wedding dress instead of a dress designed by Beckham. “We all connected to design and then, after a few days when I didn’t hear anything from Victoria, I tried to think what the next step was. I was a big fan of Valentino Haute Couture and I was very lucky to be able to go to Italy to design a dress – and that’s really what happened,” she said at the time.
