It seems that the drama surrounding one of the hottest couples the Hollywood Swamp has ever known is far from over. Now, it has been revealed for the first time that Pete is expected to sue his ex-wife following the sale of a joint property, without obtaining his consent to the transaction
The divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continues to make waves and it seems that the drama between the two is light years away from coming to an end. It now turns out that the Hollywood actor decided to sue Julie, after selling her share in their joint French vineyard, without getting his approval. Julie reportedly sold the part in question to a Russian oligarch, whose name has remained anonymous for the time being.
In the official statement of claim, which was recently filed in the Los Angeles Supreme Court, Brad stated that he was surprised to find that his ex-wife had sold her share in their vineyard which is in Chateau Mirabel. According to him, this was a decision made without his knowledge and without his consent.
Pete added that this was against the law, as he and Julie had agreed that neither of them could sell his share without the other’s approval. Another interesting detail written in the lawsuit is that Julie stopped putting money into the two’s joint business somewhere in 2013, while Pete himself continued to do so.
Pete is suing for an amount that has not yet been determined, and will be determined very soon, in court. Angelina and Brad bought the vineyard in question from their place in France, somewhere in 2008, when the two married only later, in 2014.
