The Dragon House star reveals: “I was afraid to film intimate scenes”

In a new interview, the star and actress Emily Carey reveals that in fact, throughout the filming for the series, she was often afraid to film intimate scenes.
As you know, Carey plays a young girl named Alicent, and at the time of filming she was only 17 years old (now she is 18 years old), while the person who filmed sex scenes with her was 48 years old, the actor Paddy Considine. “I didn’t know how nice he was, and how it was going to be, and whether he would help me get through it in the easiest way,” she said.
“All I knew at first was that it was a 48-year-old man, and yes, I was a little worried,” revealed the young actress. She further added that the experience was ultimately easier than she expected. “In Game of Thrones there is a lot of violence against women, already from the first episode, so it made me stressed, I asked myself what I will be forced to do during the series?”, she added.
Finally, the young star concluded and gave a positive note to the intimacy coordinator on the photo set. ‘She made me feel safe. It was nice to have someone to talk to, without feeling weird or getting unpleasant reactions. In the end it was a very empowering experience, the production dropped everything perfectly.’
