In the current film, Statham plays Orson, a dark and clever agent who goes on a mission for a dangerous British businessman. That mission leads to a series of missions around the world, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fortune’s team is slowly being joined by a number of other people, among them an overly smart computer woman named Sarah (played by Aubrey Plaza, who starred in the new season of the great series “The White Lotus”), and JJ, a guy with many skills who knows how to in the best way any task they give him. Finally, Francesco, an arms dealer who quite admires Fortune, also joins.
This script was written by Ritchie along with two other partners, Maren Davies and Ivan Atkinson. This is not the first time the three have joined forces, and in fact they have done so twice before. And as can be understood so far, they are not trying to reinvent the wheel. In other words, in Richie’s new film you will continue and get everything you are used to.
“Operation Porcelain: War Drill” is just another action movie, but still, it is worth watching. and why? Well, first and foremost because of Jason Statham’s particularly impressive acting performance, which reminds us all how he became one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood. In addition, the scenes are indeed packed with pure and escapist action, which is a real pleasure for fans of the genre.
