Prince Harry and Megan Merkel seem to be valued by the world, unlike Queen Elizabeth, who has many times in the past demonstrated her dissatisfaction with the royal duo. The two recently attended a prestigious and important ceremony for civil rights, and even won a particularly prestigious award.
Harry and Megan received the President’s Award in recognition of their contribution, with an emphasis on the Archwell Foundation, which they established two years ago to help deal with the Corona virus. In the past, other people have won the prestigious award, including Muhammad Ali, Rihanna, Jesse Jackson, and more.
Prince Harry took the stage and said: ‘Thank you very much for this great honor. It’s inspiring to think of the award’s legacy, which began somewhere in 1964. We are proud to continue this legacy and very excited to be here today. ‘ Of course Harry did not miss the opportunity and also addressed the citizens of Ukraine.
‘It is important for me to mention the citizens of Ukraine who urgently need support, as a global community. “We share a commitment and a responsibility to fight injustice and folly,” he said. He further added that he is proud to do this joint work with his wife, former Duchess Megan Merkel.
Megan, for her part, commented on the brutal murder of George Floyd: “My husband and I are constantly talking about the civil rights community and we have pledged to shed light on those who focus on racial justice. We are proud to cooperate and thank you for this incredible honor. ‘ As is well known, the royal couple do not usually express a clear political position and so this is a rather rare event, which Queen Elizabeth is not sure she will like.
