The millionaire’s son and ex of Heidi Klum has said yes. Vito Schnabel has married Helena Althof. The model has now given an insight into the celebration.
Vito Schnabel came into the public eye around ten years ago at Heidi Klum’s side. The son of artist legend Julian Schnabel and the model were in a relationship until 2017. While the GNTM boss married Tokio Hotel star Tom Kaulitz two years after their separation, her ex-boyfriend’s love life initially remained quiet.
But Vito Schnabel has also found happiness – with another German model. He has been with 21-year-old Helena Althof since 2022. Now the two have said “I do”. As “Bild” reports, the civil wedding took place on Tuesday in New York.
Helena Althof gave an insight into the celebrations on Instagram and showed herself in her wedding dress. For the big day, she chose a sleeveless dress made of white silk, short at the front with a long train. She combined it with strappy pumps, eye-catching jewelry and a tiara that she wore in her open hair.

Helena Althof’s father is also no stranger: she is the daughter of former celebrity bodyguard and jungle camper Peter Althof. “I am infinitely happy and so pleased for my girl. Helena and Vito have a very special connection,” he enthused to “Bild”.
The 68-year-old was unable to travel to the ceremony in the USA due to a conviction in 2004. However, he will attend the church wedding outside the States next year. At that time, Peter Althof was sentenced to eight months’ probation for grievous bodily harm. Helena’s mother Sandra Rajcic was on site in New York.
Vito Schnabel and Helena Althof met through mutual friends. However, insights into their relationship are rare, and the couple keeps it out of the public eye as best they can.
