This AGM was an opportunity to review the various sporting activities organized by the FRMST this season, in particular the 2nd edition of the “Foulées femmes de la victory”, placed under the slogan “I run according to my abilities”, and whose first stage was launched in Nador before stages in Dakhla, Zagora, Es-Semara, Oujda and Rabat.
The activities of the FRMST also concern the organization of caravans and sports days as well as women’s races in several regions of the Kingdom.
It is also a caravan of solidarity with people affected by the Al Haouz earthquake, in addition to activities in partnership with the Institute of Sports Professions in Kenitra and with the General Delegation of Prison Administration and reintegration for the benefit of thousands of residents of penitentiary establishments.
Furthermore, on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, the FRMST organized a national mass sports caravan which crisscrossed the 12 regions of the Kingdom and has benefited people of all age categories and social backgrounds, in addition to people with specific needs and residents of penitentiary establishments.
As part of strengthening human capital, the Federation organized theoretical and practical training sessions for the benefit of numerous association executives, responsible for supervising sports practice and improving the quality of services.
On this occasion, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sport for All, Nezha Bidouane, indicated that this AGO makes it possible to highlight the different sporting activities and initiatives put in place by the Federation, noting that the 2023-2024 season was exceptional and rich in various activities, caravans and sports days.
She underlined that among the most important activities are the “Women’s Victory Strides” which benefited more than 60,000 participants and the national mass sports caravan, noting that the FRMST program for the 2024-2025 season includes the organization of a major sporting event in Al Mahbès (Province of Assa-Zag) on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Green March and an international festival of traditional games in Assa on the occasion of the celebration of the 68th anniversary of Independence Day.
Ms. Bidouane added that the Federation also intends to strengthen its action in the rural world through the organization of sporting events under the theme “The rural world in the sports ecosystem.
For his part, Driss Akrim, vice-president of the Derb Alamiline association of sport for all, underlined that the FRMST, since its creation in 2009, has worked to organize numerous sporting, cultural and leisure activities in all regions. of the Kingdom, noting that these activities are of great importance to the extent that they contribute to establishing the culture of sporting practice and physical activity among different social categories.
And continues that the activities of the Federation target all age categories and sections of society and also aim to promote Moroccan intangible heritage through the promotion of traditional sports.
This AGM took place in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, and the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, and members of the federal office and associations affiliated with the FRMST.
