jpnn.comJAKARTA – Celebrity Helena Lim is suspected of helping Sandra Dewi’s husband, Harvey Moeis, to collect money from tin corruption.
The manager of PT Quantum Skyline Exchange was accused of helping Harvey Moeis, an extension of PT Refined Bangka Tin, to collect Rp 420 billion in tin corruption proceeds.
This was revealed by Public Prosecutor (JPU) Ardito Muwardi in a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Crimes Court (Tipikor), Wednesday (21/8).
He said the corruption money came from the cost of securing processing equipment for tin metallization of US$500 to US$750 per ton, which appeared to be CSR funds for four private smelters from illegal mining in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk.
“The defendant Helena committed a crime by intentionally providing the opportunity, means, or information to commit the crime,” said Ardito Muwardi as reported by Antara.
According to the Public Prosecutor, the four private smelters in question are CV Venus Inti Perkasa, PT Sariwiguna Binasentosa, PT Stanindo Inti Perkasa, and PT Tinindo Inter Nusa.
In addition to helping store corruption funds, Helena Lim was also charged with committing money laundering (TPPU) for profits from managing security funds amounting to IDR 900 million.
All of it was used to buy 29 luxury bags, cars, land, and even houses to hide the origin of the illicit money.
