Heliconia hotels will undergo a makeover in Haut-Ogooué

26 mars 2023

Heliconia hotels are about to undergo a makeover. The announcement of the imminent launch of the rehabilitation works of this sports hotel group managed by the ONDSC was made in Moanda by Joannick Ngomo Obiang, the Director General of the Office.

« It is an upgrade of national and international standards, so that users of Heliconia hotels come there for pleasure. “, indicated the CEO of the ONDSC during his inspection visit of the said hotels, in order to gauge for himself, the extent of the work to be carried out.

The vast Heliconia hotel rehabilitation project concerns the three structures erected in the province of Haut-Ogooué. These are the Heliconia Central in Mbaya in Franceville, the Heliconia Stadium in Moanda and the Heliconia Royal in Bongoville, the lair of the Panthers of Gabon.

It should be remembered that since their opening in 2012, during the organization of the first AFCON by our country, these hotels have not been refreshed. Thus, the imminent works announced by the CEO of the ONDSC have the main objective of restoring these structures to their former glory.

In addition to furniture and real estate, the revitalization plan for Heliconia hotels by the General Management of the Office also affects staff and especially customer service, which must meet the requirements of a 3-star hotel. As such, a General Manager, Anicet Ayeng Obame, a hotel specialist, has been recruited.

With the help of his assistant, Ghislaine Onanga Sika, also a hotel specialist, this powerful duo has just made a qualitative leap in customer service in the three hotels. Come and have a drink, have a bite to eat or spend a stay, you will judge for yourself!
