L’help of 200€ for food is a ‘check‘ approved by the Spanish government at the beginning of the year to reduce the pressure of inflation and the rise in prices among vulnerable families: specifically, those who have a income below €27,000 per yearwhose assets do not exceed €75,000 (excluding the usual home) and who have not received the Minimum Vital Income.
According to the executive’s calculations, more than four million families will benefit from this aid, the application period for which opened last February 15 and closed last March 31. During the first days of the period, the administration’s website collapsed due to the flood of requests reaching an average of 200,000 per day.
Last March 31, the deadline for asking for help closed, so there are many citizens who have already submitted the request and they are waiting for it to be resolved and, in case it is affirmative, to the fact that they enter the money in their bank accounts. In the meantime, the Treasury has issued a warning for fraud attempts pretending to be the Tax Agency.
How to know if we have received the €200 grant
To check whether we have received help from the government, we must access the electronic headquarters of the Tax Agency and, once there, identify ourselves using one of the systems offered by the administration (such as the digital certificate or the Cl @ve Pin). Once inside the headquarters, access the ‘Question of applications submitted’ and check if the check is in the status of ‘Alta‘ o ‘Low‘.
If our application is ‘Low’ it means that we have not been granted the aid, while if it is marked as ‘High’ it means that we have already been granted the check and it is only a matter of time before they enter it.
