The deadline for submitting poems to the 3rd Poetry Competition, announced by the Ioannina National University for International Women’s Day, has been extended until May 6.
The theme of this year’s competition is “women…ἒφυμεν: We were born…women” and is aimed at female creators of the Epirus Region.
Poems should be sent electronically to [email protected] in two files. The first file will contain the poem with the author’s pseudonym and the second file will contain the author’s real name and contact information (name and phone number, of course). A poem of up to one A4 page should also be sent.
The awards will be announced at the next HEN event, for which information will be provided. Three prizes and three commendations will be awarded. The jury will be made up of people of Letters and Arts from Epirus and the HEN Group of Ioannina.
